MARCELA SINCLAIR was born in Buenos Aires and is an artist and educator. Her practices include objects, sculpture, installation, site-specific projects, relational and educational works. She graduated from the National School of Fine Arts and studied with artist Tulio de Sagastizábal. She has been a fellow at the Centro de Investigaciones Antifascistas and participated in residencies at El Basilisco (Buenos Aires), Lugar a Dudas (Cali), Fountainhead (Miami), and FAARA, Fundación Ama Amoedo (José Ignacio). She received the first prize for sculpture from the National Fund for the Arts of Argentina (2017) and the 8M award (2021), among others. Her work has been exhibited in institutions in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, the United States, Italy, and Germany.

"Marcela Sinclair. Vía Pública" (Malba, 2023) and "Sinclair" (Segunda Época, 2021) are currently the most extensive publications on her work. She lives and works in Buenos Aires.
